Extra chairs are handy when guests come… and annoying the rest of the time. They sit in corners, eat up floor space, and half the time they become clothes stands. In small homes, four “just in case” chairs can make a room feel crowded very quickly.
Stackable stools solve that problem nicely. When you have visitors, you pull them out, spread them around, and everyone sits comfortably. When people leave, you simply stack them back into a neat tower and slide them against a wall or into a corner. Suddenly, that space is open again.
Stools are also lighter to move than full chairs, so even kids or elders can handle them. And because they’re low-visual-mass pieces, they don’t clutter the eye as much as bulky wooden chairs.
So you still get the flexibility of extra seating, but without sacrificing your everyday walking space.
