How can checking mobile network strength inside rooms affect your choice of flat?

On site visits, people usually check walls, tiles and view—but forget the one thing they use constantly: phone network. If you move into a beautiful flat where your mobile signal dies the moment you step inside, daily life gets annoying fast.

Poor network means dropped calls, patchy video chats, messages stuck on “sending,” and stepping out to the balcony every time you need to talk properly. If you work from home or rely on mobile data, it’s even worse.

During a visit, just walk around the flat and casually check signal bars. Try a quick call from inside rooms, not just the balcony. If two or three networks all struggle, it’s a genuine red flag.

You can fix paint, furniture and curtains later. Network issues are much harder to solve without extra gadgets and cost.
