Many people fall into the trap of using one favourite PIN or password everywhere—phone lock, social media, UPI, net banking, shopping apps. If one of these gets compromised, suddenly everything is vulnerable.
By keeping separate PINs—especially a unique one for banking and money-related apps—you create a basic firewall. Even if someone guesses or sees your phone unlock code, they can’t automatically access your money.
You don’t need 100 different combinations, just a smart separation between “sensitive” and “non-sensitive” apps. It’s a simple step that makes casual misuse much harder.
