Overhead pipes carry water across roofs to tanks, flats or common areas. If they’re badly supported, loosely tied, or sagging in the middle, water flow can be uneven and joints can strain. Over time, this leads to leaks, breakages or noisy vibrations.
Properly supported pipes, with regular clamps and gentle slopes, show that someone installed them with planning. Sagging pipes with random bricks under them scream “temporary jugaad” that might fail in strong winds or with heavy use.
Roof plumbing is out of sight for most residents, but its quality directly affects the reliability of their water supply.
